The most prevalent hair color in the world. It comes in all textures, pigment depths, and levels of shine (the leading indicator of hair health). It can be thick and curly -- or -- thin and limp. Therefore, brunettes present a few challenges when it comes to coloring.

Underlying dark red natural pigments can cause brunette hair to have a brassy (orange, reddish) result when coloring is applied. However, with proper formulation this problem can be avoided.

The color you want should always be the color you get.

Typically brunettes want caramel, honey or blonde highlights to add depth and interest to their hair. Enhancing the underlying pigment can produce rich warm colors or highlights. Sometimes a semi-permanent color is all that's needed to give hair some extra shine or to blend in graying hair. I can help you choose which process makes the most sense for you.
