Straighteners - The Latest Sensation
When a complete release of any curl is desired, straighteners can do he job very well. Presently, I offer the Rusk Thermal Straightening System and the Yuko Japanese Straightening System. I am certified and have done many of these treatments. I guarantee great results with these products. The result is healthy looking, silky, totally straight hair. Styling the hair after these services is almost effortless. You can come out of the swimming pool and your hair will dry totally straight, on its own. Maintenance is 4-9 months, depending on your hair growth.

Relaxers Diminish Curl and Excessive Volume
Very popular during humid summer months, relaxers can decrease frizziness caused by the tendency of hair to take on moisture. Relaxers leave the hair in a shiny and healthy state. They can range from "mild" for a slight relaxing of the curls, to "resistant" for stronger curls when a more straight appearance is desired. Either way, we will have a nice long consultation before starting any service.

Texture Waving Adds Volume and Curl If Desired
Known not so long ago as permanent waving, the term texture waving reflects important improvements in the chemistry of the process. It is more gentle and less damaging. You also have more options. For example, large rollers can be used to give lift and not necessarily curl.

Sculpting and Coloring
We can dry cut to give a more attractive shape to your natural curls. Cutting dry actually allows me to see and work with each curl as it relates to the overall shape of your style. Curly hair may require a different size of highlight so as to be seen. Sometimes, fine weaved highlights are almost lost in curly hair.
