HELLO, I'M TIM

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself.

I have been a hair professional for over 15 years. Some of you may remember me from my Gold Coast location: Spalon – A Day Spa and Salon. Today, I am the co-owner of Colette – Salon & Spa on 100 E. Walton.

I specialize in hair-color, especially highlighting, and cutting. I have had extensive training in color with the following hair-color companies: Framesi, Redken, Goldwell and Schwarzkopf. My hair cutting expertise is derived from advanced training in the following techniques: precision cutting techniques - English style through Vidal Sassoon, free form visual techniques - French style with John Sahag, Asian cutting and coloring techniques with Yosh Toya, and the funky textured piecey techniques of Rusk.

My background prior to hair was in the sciences, music and culinary arts. Perhaps my degree in engineering contributes to my understanding the intricacies and exactness of creating precision haircuts with shapes and angles, as well as the chemical make up of hair-color. Chemical services is something that I understand quite well.

The arts have helped me to have a better eye for choosing the best colors and shapes possible, to compliment my clients' natural features.

And, there is nothing better than experience.
