I enlisted in the United States Navy after high school graduation.  I retired with over 24 years service from the Navy Reserve. In the private sector, I worked for Carnival Cruise Line, Verizon, and IBM Cloud. Improving Enterprises is where I currently work as a consultant.

My time in the U.S. Navy allowed me to work onboard nuclear submarines. I served on the USS ARCHERFISH (SSN 678), a fast attack submarine that provided staging for SEAL Delivery Vehicle Team 2 and performed special missions as part of Submarine Development Squadron 12. Additionally, I am a member of the commissioning crew of the Trident ballistic missile submarine, USS WYOMING (SSBN 742). As well, I completed two strategic deterrent patrols on board the USS OHIO (SSGN 726) and the USS MAINE (SSBN 741).

In the later part of my Navy career, I deployed twice to Afghanistan as an intelligence analyst. The first time supporting Combined Joint Inter-agency Task Force 435 and the second time supporting special operations units conducting counter terrorism operations.
